And the blog begins

I am best known for my work in OpenOffice.org, especially as it relates to macros. I do, however, dabble in many different areas, and I have numerous documents on numerous topics, I just do not choose to publish all of them.

I decided that I would try Blogging as a means of making information available.

I ponder how to release content that I create. There are so many licenses from which to choose. Unfortunately, they are not all compatible with each other, so I typically release my work to be freely available to all. That is my intention here, unless an example specifically states otherwise.

My biggest issue is time. I have personal projects that I want to work on, and I receive numerous personal requests for help. Unfortunately, due to my time constraints, it is not easy for me to make much progress on some of these items... A shame I think. I have still not managed to work through the GIMP documentation, and I have at least two open projects that use QT...

Speaking of QT, if you have not tried it, I highly recommend it. That said, I am not sure that I have had sufficient time with QT to authoritatively state that it is the best thing since sliced bread, but I have yet to find a reason to believe otherwise.
